Project Manager
Responsible for customer engagement and project management. Requires hands-on project management experience. Must have successfully managed large software development projects involving 10 to 30 software engineers, with multiple teams. Good understanding of OO Project Management and knowledge of latest broadband technologies is highly desired. Candidates must possess PMI PMP certification.
Senior Solution Architects
Responsible for requirement, specification and design work. Be able to understand and articulate customer requirements as they relate to high-level system architecture. Must have hands on expertise using software languages such as C++, Java, Perl, Python, XML, and working knowledge of J2EE/EJB and Java application servers such as Jboss, WebSphere or WebLogic. Must have used 3rd party middleware/EAI products such as Orbix, ILOG, Sun Forte, Vitria etc. Experience with 3rd party NMS products such as Lumos, Dorado, Adventnet, and Java API such as JMX / SNMP etc.
Application Deployment Support Engineer Job#SB-01272011
Maintain TurningPoint’s proprietary web based enterprise resource planning (ERP) application and associated computing environment currently used by several government agencies by providing hardware and software system support. Identify system improvements, upgrades, install software releases/patches, and configure application and monitor system performance using J2EE technologies (EJB, JSP XML), Java technologies, and using scripting languages such as Perl, Unix/Windows OS, Jboss and WebLogic, and writing SQL statements. Maintain the database integrity, monitor data upload process, and fix any issues resulting in data integrity or fallout issues. Ensure application is available to user community 100% of the time by monitoring the various aspects of the application and associated hardware. Write SQL scripts for data dump and uploading of data into Oracle RDBMS. Perform database integrity checks, ensure index tables are kept current. Use Java/J2EE based web application deployment process, debugging process, and review Application Server log files in Linux/Unix environment. Write Unix shell scripts, TCP/IP and provide LAN configuration & trouble shooting. Lead the development of modules and data migration activities from legacy system to new system; Hands on work experience with Microsoft Access 1997, Access 2007, Oracle 10g, Microsoft .NET technologies, Java, ASP, J2EE, Websphere, IIS Webserver, HTML, JavaScript, and implementation of LDAP are critical. Job Requirements: Must have Master's degree in CS/CIS/Engineering (any field) and 1 year experience in the job offered or as systems analyst, engineer or its equivalent. Candidates with BS degree are required to have five (5) years of progressive experience in Software Development and Testing environment. Experience in alternate occupations must include designing and developing web applications using .NET, Java, ASP, and data warehouse.
