Order and Contract Management

Accelerated Implementation

The platform's highly configurable architecture minimized the need for development, allowing for a shortened implementation and the agency to meet its timeline and budget goals. TurningPoint also rolled out training for agency personnel, covering lifecycle management, billing, web portal usage, and configuration management. The customized training courses ensured staff were equipped to effectively utilize NiOS capabilities.

Security and Compliance

TurningPoint's commitment to security was evident in NiOS's architecture, which included robust internal security controls, data encryption (both in transit and at rest), and compliance with approved ports, protocols, and services. NiOS was deployed in a FISMA-Moderate, AWS GovCloud East environment and achieved a three-year Authority to Operate (ATO), validating its ability to safeguard sensitive data, including PII. The platform also integrated with PIV services for secure access.
